Hi friends! We are David and Mel Dulaney.
Welcome to our small business! Seriously, it’s a small affair. Everything is based out of our home office and I(Mel) do pretty much everything. David supports where he can but he also works full time in HVAC and this has really been my creative outlet. Everything is done by hand and a large percentage of the designs are hand drawn by me! I’ve bought a few but the majority is my art.
How it started
I (Mel) have worked EMS for the past few years and if you haven’t done that, you pretty much live on the ambulance and it takes its toll on your mind and spirit. I started drawing on my iPad to decompress and last year a coworker told me I should start selling my art or have stickers made and sell them. So that’s what I did! Kinda. David and his grandma surprised me with a printer and then a Cricut. Armed with raging ADHD hyperfocus and TikTok, I learned how to make stickers and started a little sticker business. I did some shows and eventually started getting into apparel with vinyl. I learned pretty quickly I liked doing apparel but the vinyl was tedious so that’s how I got to doing DTF prints now! I really enjoy it and that’s honestly why I do it. I love doing custom pieces. I did my friend’s daughter’s first birthday shirts while I was still doing vinyl and holy smokes it was so much work but I loved it. So please, if you have a unique idea, hit me with it!
About our products
Apparel
My favorite blanks are Bella + Canvas! Hands down, they are the softest and highest quality for your dollar. I can get most brands though. I found a site to get Carhartt even! The image designs are primarily DTF (direct to film). If you go pick up a graphic tee at the store, it’s probably DTF. It’s fairly soft and durable and lasts like the images do on most graphic shirts you buy retail. I have iron on vinyl but I generally defer to DTF and would tell you if I was going to use vinyl.
Stickers
My stickers have a protective overlay on them so they are generally pretty water resistant and sturdy for water bottles and laptops. The only thing I would caution against is putting them on cars. The system I use to make them just gets baked in the Oklahoma sun. I have a few different styles I can do and I have several overlays. Clear, glitter, iridescent, I got you!
Vinyl
I can do tumblers, signs, car decals, anything vinyl can do, I can also make it. I’ve even made some license plate covers! If you aren’t sure, just ask!
Custom work
I love a good custom project! I love figuring out how to make someone else’s idea come to life! I try really hard to be fair about charging fees for designing things. I do it on a case by case basis because if I made it a standard fee, it would make some items just generally unaffordable. For the most part, I’ll do what I can to justify waving the fee. If your design can be recycled and I can change something minor and sell it to the populace, or if it’s a bulk order, or whatever the case may be, I try to be fair. <3
